There is something about photography that provides artistic expression. Most cities have been photographed countless times; however, Paris in particular has captivated photographers since the very origin of the medium. To remain objective about the charm of the streets, the photographer must not intervene. Instead, I believe photography should document the activity like a casual spectator taking part in the social activity of the street. This is the respectful approach that guided me through the extraordinary urban terrain of Paris to explore the familiar sites and uncover hidden details. My goal is always to capture, share and enjoy with others those most photogenic scenes on the streets but the challenge that remains is to be there for those precise moments.
